On April 6 I entered into a new mortgage with Franklin Americn Mortgage Company, which in turned sold our loan to Wells Fargo Bank. This was the beginning of a very BIG and Very Costly excursion. On April 9 I called the customer service department to set up automatic payments because we were going to be traveling and wanted to make sure all the payments would be made. The Effective date was May 15. The payment was made correctly and withdrawn from my account.
On July 9 will away on travels I was notified that I was delinquent. On July 22 after receiving notice, I called and spoke with John in the collection department to straighten out the problem. I was then notified that the automatic payment was not effective, despite have confirmation letters showing otherwise. I was then transferred to Jesse where they set up automatic payments again even though we had letters confirming that it was already done. On July 26, for some unknown reason, the order was reversed and we were not notified. On August 17 a complaint was served to begin forclosure.
Now I had to hire an attorney to get our credit back and keep our house from being forclosed. I have confirmation after confirmation showing that payments were being made and nothing regarding reversals. I now have A credit that has been forever tarnished and ruined because of 1 inept company and their unethical business practices.
In order to reinstate my mortgage they want me to pay them another $3k even though it was their ineptitude that began this mess in the first place.
