I just sent you a report regarding Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company but I forgot to put in a very important issue concerning another thing they did to us without our knowledge or signature.
I hope you have been able to read my first report as it is all very important.
In April we received a call from their refinance department (the person calling would not give me his name) informing us that they had taken it upon themselves to refinance this house and they had added another 15 years to the loan. We only had 10 more years to pay for the house when they did this. I am now nearly 64 years old.
When I asked the man I spoke to if they had lowered the interest rate, he stated that was impossible because our credit was already ruined from not being able to make the payments.
They also sent us some paperwork that was supposed to be helpful as they said that HUD would pay up to 11 months of the past due payments but we would have to pay the remaining $4,000.00 - $5,000.00.
After reading the agreement, we called them because we couldn't do the offer and once again asked why they had refinanced our home without our knowledge and wouldn't reduce our interest rate so we could make our payments. I was informed they could do whatever they wanted to us even if we didn't like it!
Sorry I forgot to enter this into my first report to you but it just came back to me and I wanted everyone to know the entire story regarding Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Company.
My advice to anyone purchasing a home is NEVER do business with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage or Banking of any kind!
I would be MORE then happy to tell this to the media and get an attorney to help us. The only problem with an attorney is we can't afford to pay the fees so I am wondering where we will end up.
