I have never in my life been so mad and upset with a business and wish I would have searched them online before I used them.
I was short on money husband got a new job I am a Stay At Home Mom and I had realized I had made an error when doing my check register and I was coming up $2.45 short on my checking account. Same day I had caused it to go $2.45 Short I went to the bank and deposited $10.00 in the ATM.
Well the next morning I get up and I check the bank account online only to see it says I am $27.45 in the negative since they charged me a $35.00 overdraft fee. So I call the Bank and ask the women why I had been charged when I deposited the money well of course any other time I use the atm for deposits the money is available right away when I get home and look at it but this time the deposit was not credited til the next day so when the items posted the money was not there yet...
Ok whatever Well I asked the women cause I had three pending Debit card Purchases that they had a hold on the money for them that had not posted yet what would happen if my account was still negative when they posted since they did have the money to cover these on hold already and she said "oh well you will be charged overdraft fees for each one of them" so I asked what I could to prevent that she told me to deposit (in the atm) enough to get it out of the negative she suggested $30.00.
I got my 2 kids in the car went straight to the bank within 10 min of hanging up with her and deposit $50.00 through the atm. Ok, I get home call there 24hr customer service again and I ask the girl that answers this time if I am ok now and she says yes I am showing your deposit of $50.00 after the negative that leaves you with an available balance of $22.55,
Same exact thing there online banking said cause I pulled it up while I was on the phone with her then I asked ok so when these check card holds that I have Post to my account am I going to charged any overdraft fees anything like that cause I don't have it and the women says NO Your account if Fine like I said you have an available Balance of $22.55 and the money for the check card purchases is already on hold so that will just post..
Okkk SO WHY IN THE HELL do I wake up this morning at 6:30 turn on the computer pull up my account and wow they charged me $140.00 in overdraft fees for the card purchases that posted to my account!!! So now it saying I am $117.45 after they credited me for the $50.00 Deposit I made yesterday to prevent this.
So I called told them that I spoke with JULIA on 5/23 and she told me everything was fine and I wanted to know what changed and why did it change There #1 Customer Service told me that he don't know why JULIA told me that and that I needed to learn how to balance a check registry and then told me that he would give me JULIA's Number and I could call her but that was all he could do for me.
Well That's fine cause they can run that bill up as high as they for them fees and take me court as much as they like for it cause over my dead body will I give them another dollar of my family's money. I undersatnd this all started with my mistake but being a customer of theirs for over 2 years there customer service Lied to me they could at least credited me back half of the fee's since that is all my acoount was negative was bank fee's the money for my purchases were there.
