Ever since Ocwen bought our mortgage from or first motrgage company we have had nothing but problems. They kept saying that we were behind in our payments because we did not pay on the first of the month and that we had to pay outrages late fees to catch up or we would lose our home. So we would pay the late fees to "catch up".
It got so bad that we could not keep up with our other monthly bills because that money had to go toward late fees for Ocwen. Until last year in June of '06 we had a sherriff come to our house and tell us that our house was going up for auction. That was when we went to an attorney to get our home back.
We once again paid all the fees including our lawyer fees to save the home. Then they put us on a forbearance plan in November of '06. They said that our next payment would be in Jan of '07. So we continued to pay the mortgage in Jan but know they are saying we are late for being on a forbareance plan and are charging us $2,000 a month on late fees untill November '07.By the time this year is up we would have to pay $24,000 in late fees to be "caught up" on our mortgage.
My marrage of 16 years have been put on so much stress that not only do I have to work on saving our house I also need to work on saving our marriage. I can not believe what Ocwen has put us through for the past 4 years but I will not stop trying to stop Ocwen from doing this to another hard working family.
