USBANKCORP Overdraft fees are outrageous, when you aren't even overdrawn

Banks are bold face stealing from people and getting away with it, there is nothing we can do about it?

The thing that infuriates me is that I can buy something with my debit card, the money is taken off my available balance immediately leaving me negative say $4 or something like that, so I should get charged for overdrawing once, I understand that, but then all these "pending transactions" hit. The money was taken out of my account days ago, the balance only went negative because of one transaction, but then when transactions "post" I get hit with the fees for the 5 things I paid for 4 days ago!

I've deposited money the same day well before the end of business, lets say around lunch time, it was cash so the deposit posted on the same day, so I was positive again, but I am not kidding in that same day gone negative again because even though I put in money, their fees were assessed (for things this morning being negative) and brought me negative again, without the fees the money I had deposited would have covered my mistake. I figured everything was fine again, but to my dismay I was $129 overdrawn the other day, even though I deposited money well over what the little overdraft was. This should be illegal. Its a no win situation for us and the bank has a million loopholes to steal money from people who are honestly making an effort to keep their bank account straight. I mean, if you RUSH to the bank to deposit cash the same day you should not be charged fees. If you ignore it and don't do anything about it then yeah, I could see them penalizing you. This is so wrong in so many ways, and there is NOTHING you can do about it. Too bad, your paycheck just got cut by hundreds of dollars and there is not a damn thing you can do about it. I have had a $40 mistake cost me over $400 in fees.

My belief, the fees should not exceed or at the very least be multiple times the offense. If I overdraw $20 and a bunch of transactions that I made 6 days ago 'post' I should not be charged $35 for each one even though only ONE of them made me go negative. I can understand when you are negative and you keep going down down down without doing anything to correct it. If I go $20 in the hole, I should not be charged $200 when it is all said and done. You call them and they explain why you were wrong, they can take your money and there is not a damn thing you can do about it.

They also have confusing ways of making there be like 3 different 'balances' so even if you do check online religiously, as I do, their balance is always different. I have 3 balances and not one of them matches what the lady on the phone says!

This happened to me again today, I am thinking about a serious class action or other form of lawsuit because I cannot afford to pay $300 in overdraft fees the day AFTER I get PAID!!! I have deposited $1700 into my account in the last 2 days and I am still negative over $100 even though my total withdrawals (and I did not have a negative balance before) are $1283.19. How does this happen!? I have a credit union that does not charge overdraft fees hardly EVER. And when they do you deserved it!
