Sewer repair claim of $4882 denied, $500 offered

Home Warranty of America has recently denied my claim for a sewer repair. The cost? $4882.00. They called back and offered me $500.00.

I know from an insurance adjuster that this is covered.

There is currently a class action lawsuit filed against the company for routinely denying claims that are covered. The complaint is filed in Cook County, case 06CH28361. (You can pull up the case on the Circuit Clerk's website.) This is a class action lawsuit, and anyone with a denied claim that should have been paid can join.
