I spent $180 ($60 each service call) on an electrician, furnace company repair, and range repair. The electrical was denied after the person (not an electrician, but a AHS "representative") took a look. He never lifted the panel to see behind the circuits.
The furnace guy left saying the cracked furnace box was covered and they'll file their report soon and we'll have a new furnace. 2 days later, AHS called and said the claim was denied. I asked what happened between the time the furnace repair said it was covered and they'd repair it to AHS denying it. Their excuse did not match the furnace repair guy's findings.
The range guy had to order parts. That was Jan 12. It's Feb 19 and still no repair. I've had to initiate calls to AHS and the repair guy and don't get call backs.
What American Home Shield is doing is illegal. I hope I can join a class-action lawsuit to at least get my $180 refunded.
