I am very sorry I ever bought a warranty through Home Warranty of America. Last month, my 3-year-old LG washer broke down. HWA sent a repairman who... After MULTIPLE VISITS and MULTIPLE parts changes... Said he didn't know what the problem is. HWA then sent another repairman for a "second opinion." He, too, could not fix it. HWA now refuses to pay my claim since they "cannot diagnose the problem."
What circular logic! They won't pay a claim without a diagnosis... Yet none of their repairmen can find the problem? Wow... What a novel way to not pay a claim. I have played their silly game for almost one month now... And I STILL do not have a working washing machine. I deeply regret EVER buying a warranty through HWA... And I strongly encourage ANYONE else considering buying a warranty to NOT BUY an HWA warranty.
