Bought a house in Houston and in the contract for sale was a provision for the seller to purchase a home warranty to protect the buyer (me). Home warranty was purchased from Home warranty of America. One month after move in, I called in a service call for the washer and dryer. Home warranty of America instantly denied the claim. They said they were broke before I got them. Period. The policy purchased was the diamond policy which includes washer and dryers. Warning, do not buy Home Warranty of America. They are a rip - off.
