My original mortgage was with Delta funding, which I had no problems with. They sold the mortgage to fairbanks capital, that was when the trouble began with payments not being credited to my account. Bogus fees in excess of 5000 dollars, force placed insurance. Having someone come to our house and taking polaroid pictures and charging us 350.00 per picture. Legal fees that were extremly high and attempting to foreclose our mortgage twice. I got a whole 489.00 on my class action suit with them when they actually owed me 4890.00. Wow now that helped alot. The thing is yeah they gave me ten cents on the dollar for the 4890.00 they bogusly charged me but the FAILED to take the 4890.00 off my freaken mortgage which has now become nearly 6000.00 with interest and made that negative escrow on my account. Well after all that trouble they sold my mortgage to select portfolio which sold it to ocwen. I believe and I have heard that all of these companies are on in the same and keep changing their names everytime the law suits star accumulating on them. Today I had to call Ocwen to get a mailing address. I told them that I wanted to make a payment on late fees as well because by the time my payment gets there it will be late. The man on the phone was extremley nice and told me not to worry about the late fee and they my account will be credited as of today since I told him the payment was going in the mail today. I said are you sure there will not be a late fee and he said no and not to worry and that I was now current on my payments..
Also asked if I want to refinance and said that I should call the refinance department. Very unusual for this company to behave this way usually they are very rude and not helpful in any way... I mean I have had people refuse to talk about my account when calling them. I wonder now did they finally change their ways or what are they up to. I tend to think more of what are they up to now what can I expect them to do next. GOd only knows. And God help me and all the others out there that are doing business with them.
