Got brochure for application, with no membership fee. I was approved for a card over one year ago. Only used it a few times till a card appeared on the billing statement of $59.60.. Called and was not going to pay for the fee because the limit of the card was only $200.00. I only wanted a card if it was an emergency.
When this statement was sent to me the last of Dec. 2001.. And at that time I could not even use the card on two different occasions, the checker sould not get an approval number from Capitol One to activate.
I called and in Jan. 2002 to completely cancel the service that was charged ($59.60) I was told that this service charge would be deducted and the card would be cancelled. I cut my card up at that time... Now I have additional charges on a card I have not used in over 9 months (late charges had been added to the service charge, which I had canceled)
The total you want me to pay now is $112.35. I refuse to pay for services not rendered.
Please feel free to contract me on this matter, ASAP.
I do feel you have some uncooperative employees who should have done what they were suppose to have done over 5 months ago. The service charge would not have been posted and the late charges would not have appeared on a statement and we would not be having to this communication.
I want this card killed and all furthur statement of
Service charges you say that are owed to be cancelled..
