If your wife goes out to get some groceries and some gas and mcdonalds and goes tannond in one day and you go golfing and get gas and buy soda and that night you pay your electric bill online, some reason or another you dont have enough funds to cover, Wachovia doesnt decline, they charge a fee on all transactions that day.
Wachovia feeds on people that they know they can take advantage of. Everyone needs a checking account whether you are rich or poor. I have learned a lot about the banking practices of Wachovia and want to start a class action law suit to reccop some of my hard earned money that they have taken from me.
Last week was my last great rip off by wachovia, it was a thursday night and my wife decided to pay the electric bill online, i get paid on fridays at midnight w / direct deposit. We had made several purchases that day including, a movie rental, $5 in gas, mcdonalds, chuckie cheese, home depot, publix and a couple of others. These were all small purchases with a check card between my wife and i. Well, the payment for the electric bill didnt clear because something was being held that didnt show online. But everything showed in the morning when they yanked $300 dollars out of my check that was deposited that night for overdraft fees on everyhting we did that day, even though they had cleared all day long... My point is that... WACHOVIA HAS BANKING PROCEDURES THAT ARE SIMILIAR TO LOAN SHARKING...
Their procedure is to list the highest priced item you bought first and down to the lowest which causes evrything below highest to also be accesed their $25 fee... Just doesnt seem right that this can be done...
In plain english, the $5 dollars in gas i bought at noon cost me $30 dollar at midnight and just add $25 dollars to every other $5 and $10 dollar transaction i made that day... A $25 dollar movie rental is a great deal. Even though it cleared no problem at 5pm...
This isnt the first time this has happened to me and i cant believe it keeps happening, I am the kind of person who thinks can get better but this isnt one of them... If you can help me get my money back or make me millionaire over this ridiculous policy that Wachovia has please help... They have many other horrible policies, but this policy is the worst... How can banking not be time coded... HOW CAN YOU TALLY EVERYTHING AT THE END OF THE DAY BY THE AMOUNTS OF TRANSACTIONS...
They also hold deposits until stuff will bounce and then drop it in only take it all...
