Citifinancial bought Associates Housing Finance. I paid Asoociates all the money I owed them ($625.00) Then Citi sent me a bill for $20,000.00. So I made phone calls to find out the deal.in the end a rep from Associates sent me a copy of the letter to all 3 CRA's saying to delete the account. Here it is 5 years later and now Citi is reporting an account with $0.00 balances but was Included in Bankruptcy. I have never filed bankruptcy in my life. So I dipute this information with the credit bureas 4 times and each time it comes back as Confirmed Status as Correct. So now I have recieved a letter from the US Bankruptcy Court of The Southern District of Texas. Wonder what they will do when served for Knowingly Filing False information with the credit bureas? Since there are no public records of me filing bankruptcy.
