Mutualline Financial
Ripoff, Dishonors Contract, Fraud, Unprofession looking Contracts, Ask for money up front, Send Money to PVT Lender from Canada

Receive phone call from Mr. Nathaniel Jackson from Mutualline Financial in ref to a loan that I applied for on the internet.

Was told by him that my loan was approved but the Private Lender (Joseph Kennel/Campose Alberta Canada) requested that I pay $1,129 by moneygram as collateral and because of my credit (now mind you my loan was already approved) and that this amount would aslo go towards my loan repayment.

All documents I received, to include a Verification Letter that stated my approval of the loan and upon verifying the $1,129 payment, my full loan amount will be released within 24-48 hrs were faxed.

After returning the documents by fax to Mr. Jackson, I was told by him that everything was still approved and that all paperwork was in order and the only thing that was left was for me to give him the reference number on the moneygram.

I sent the moneygram then called and gave that information to Mr. Jackson. He asked "How did I want the money sent?" I told him by Direct Deposit and gave him that information. Then I was told by him that my file would now be sent to customer service
(Mr. Brown) and I would be receiving a packet in the mail with payment details.

I called Mr. Jackson on the day my money was to be in my account and the individual I spoke with said he wasn't in. I informed him that I wanted to know "Where is my money?". This person told me to call customer service then turned around and said that I should've read the contract and I informed that I did read the contract.

Contacted customer service, told by Mr. Brown (who sounded just like Mr. Jackson) that he was on the phone talking to my lender and he wanted more money. The lender had reassed my file and after receiving the money, terminated my loan.

I informed Mr. Brown that I wasn't sending anymore money and I wanted my money. I was told by him that if I don't send any money then I will not receive my money.

Mr. Brown informed me that he would have to let the Lender know that I wanted my money. Then he told me that all I was entitled to would be the $1,129.

Called customer service twice but to no avail. Then contacted Mr. Jackson and informed him what had happened. He stated that he was unaware of the situation and couldn't explain why my loan was terminated. He then turned around and said that the Lender had probably reassed my file and decided not to proceed with the loan.

I asked Mr. Jackson for information on Mr. Kennel. He stated that he didn't have that but his supervisor would so I asked to speak to his supervisor.

Spoke to Mr. Dean Smith, (sounds exactly like Mr. Jackson) wouldn't give me any information on Mr. Kennel because he said it was against the law because he is a private lender. And there company was the middle man between the consumer and him.

I informed Mr. Smith that I wanted to speak to someone over him and he told me that there was no one else for me to talk to but him (now mind you he's the "Supervisor").

He informed me that he would have to retreive the funds from the lender, complete some paperwork and then I would receive my money $1,129 in 30-45 days. And I am to call him in 15 days to check the status.

I was told that no money would be taken from my account since the lender terminated my loan.

I told them that they are a Advance Fee Loan Company who frauds people. They and their so-called employees misreprent the public and the company. And If you are legitmate company, why are you doing business with a person in Canada? That question couldn't be answered. And why is it that Mr. Brown and Mr. Smith sound exactly like Mr. Jackson? I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I wasn't any of their sisters, so how would I know that they all soun alike. Trust me it was all one person playing 3 parts.

I recently called Mutualline Financial on their 1-800 number and dialed Mr. Jackson's extension and low and behold... Guess who answered the phone and the same person answered for customer service. So this tells me that they are still up and running and I hope that the complaints that I sent to the BBB in Maine and the FTC do something about them. If not I'll go to the Attoney General's Office in that state. And if I have to I will also submit a report to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Canada.
