A charge for $19.95 appeared on my checking account which over drew my account so I am actually out $50 from my bank and then an additional $30 from an automatic draft that was set up for a monthly utility bill that bounced.
I called to inquire and the rep. Advised they were a bonus on the bottom of a Pay Day Advance application and that I would have had to input my checking and routing info which really red flagged they were a scam.
I only gave my checking info to the Pay Day Loan company. The rep then named a list of services I would not have signed up for because I already have them, ie. AAA for their roadside service, Health insurance for their RX discoutns and a free credit report, which I also already have.
To get my money back she said I have to file a police report which has to end in an investigation showing I was defrauded by someone using my internet account.
It really burns me that I can't do anything about this, I advised my account should be canceled and that I never requested or signed up for this service which she says I have had for a month and never used.
