Complaint / Review
Centrix Financial
Ripoff

I am so discussed with this company. I asked for a defement back in November for December, so that I could used the money to take care of some hurricane damage to my car. Paymnts are normally drafted from my savings. When I spoke to them they said fine, but we have to secure a payment for January. So I agreed and gave them my checking information. Come December the idiots took a payment out of my savings account for December. I called and was furious that they did what they did. After speaking with the accounts manager who was so rude and was talking over me and threaten to hang the phone up on me because I wouldn't let him speak. I got hold of the HR director (Margaret Fogarty) who apolgized and stated that she would get to the bottom of the situation and find out what is what. So I get a call telling me that there was a form mailed to me authorizing the deferment that was never turned in. I told her that I never recieved the form and no one mentioned I had to do this procedure and had I known that the form would of been returned immediatly. So I cancelled the deferment. And cancelled eft drafting from my account.

Later in December, it turned out that I would still need the deferment. So I called and asked and they set it up again at this time they mentioned that the form had to be signed and faxed back to a Kathleen. I recieved the form and faxed it to them several times to make sure it was done, I even called at the beginning of January to make sure that all drafting was cancelled and the deferment was set up. I had recieved a confirmation verbally along with a confirmation number. Turns out that on Jan 18th my checking was drafted for a pmt. I was pissed, my account had a negative balance with alot of NSF fees. I am so angry that i was planning to visit personally to find out what the hell is the damn problem. Not only did I cancel EFT completly, they took upon themselves to draft my checking which I never authorize a payment.in the past it had always been my savings they depleted. So I called Centrix as soon as I found out. I spoke with a rep then the Reasearch manager Judy. She stated everything had been cancelled far as my eft drafting but I never cancelled the checking payment done back in Novemeber. My blood pressure hit the ceiling... They gave me some BS excuse that it had been drafted because I had given them a check by phone in November and that transaction was never cancelled. I told them we cancelled all that when the first deferment didn't go through; how stupid can they be? So she told me to call back the next day because accounting was closed for the day.

I understand that we all make mistakes and none of us are perfect. But this is ludacris. I have called the HR director several times and sent emails... No response. Horrible customer service. It's like immpossible to speak with anyone in management. They always connect you to a voicemail. Finally this morning, I spoke with a Jessica, and explain the situation after 700,000 times and she requested that I send a copy of the statement and letter from my bank stating that the money was taken out and paid. I conference a call between Centrix and my bank so the bank could hear what was needed by them.

After all that they told me it would take up to two weeks to hear back from them if I could get my money back or not, plus NSF charges. I asked to speak with the research manager Judy and was given her voicemail. Left a message and have not heard back from her yet. I don't think I will. This company has the worst customer service I ever dealt with in my life. It is absolutly unacceptable the way they handle a sitation. You can't get straight answers.
