We signed with Ameriquest 2 years ago, we refinanced to try to get away from them because of all the dishonesty from them.
With a company called town and country mortgage. Only to find out after everything was said and done that they were a sister company of ameriquest mortgage
In May we suffored a fire in our home and lost everything inside the house. The whole thing had to be gutted, and after the fire my husband lost his job. We were able to keep up the mortgage payments up intill december.
On december 3rd AMC started calling, and demanding that we pay with the insurance money that we were trying fix the house with, and telling us that we were supposed to send them all the insurance checks to them, and they would distribute the moneys as they saw fit. (wishful thinking on their part)
Last week when they called demanding money from us. They accused my husband and I of not looking for jobs. They don't or don't want to understand that were doing the best we can. They call every day sometimes 4-5 times a day; there is no end to the harrasment.
