There are consumers and attorneys who are fighting Ameriquest and winning. Several cases for individual Ameriquest victims have been brought in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Although the class actions brought privately and by the state attorney generals give Ameriquest bad publicity which ultimately helps the consumer, individuals typically receive small settlements. Borrowers are losing their homes because they believe that they cannot fight such a large corporation. This is not the case.
Do not give up! You can obtain relief in court or through your state's division of banking and insurance. Ameriquest has violated numerous consumer laws which are designed to protect individuals.
