Bank Of America
Ripoff

My husband and I had a joint account with Bank of America some time ago and my husband had a card with Mastercard originally. I used to go online to www.bankofamerica.com each day. I wish we'd had a printer at the time, but one day I would see that a few things had cleared, the next day those things would disappear from the list, then re-appear again later at a more beneficial time to them, say as soon as they'd seen our account was below $50, then they'd magically re-enter something that had disappeared, and create a debit, then charge us $34, we had overdraft protection, but they claimed if we had to use it more than twice per month that we lost the right to have that coverage, even though we were paying for it at the time. We finally had to stop using it after my husband, whose in the Army went to Iraq. We unfortunately had no timely way of knowing what each of us were doing and also found that BOA wasted no time in using that to their advantage, we are currntly paying their attorney $1250 to crawl out of a hole with them, but as I say this hole was mostly our fault. To catch them in the act, I suggest you get signed on with them online and about every 4 hours print out a copy of your transactions. Then circle all the ones that show up, then disappear, then re-appear. Watch out particularly around just before your pay day, they get much more sloppy when they figure your about broke anyway. Also circle the time on each of your print-outs. You can mark each, here, gone, and here again! And circle all overdraft fees, or highlight each in a different color, whatever helps you best. Good luck!!
