I was contacted in the latter part of June by Mark Lenex on behalf of Oxford Financial regarding a credit card with a credit limit of $2,000, no interest for the first 3 years. He also explained they would give credit increases regularly as long as you don't go over your limit and make the payments on time.

He said, "There was a one time fee of $249 and that it would take 30 to 60 working days to process after the fee was collected." I asked him why so long for processing it and he explained that this was what they have to say but normally and because we are in the states it would probably take about 14 days to receive it and probably no longer than 30 days.

So I agreed to the terms and was told they would take the fee on th 6th of July and gave me a confirmation# 3435783. He then told me if there were any questions or problems to contact him at 1-866-333-7715 ext. 018 and ask for Mark Lenex.

When I hadn't heard or received anything by the end of the third week of July I called and they wouldn't transfer and was told that they could help me all they needed was the confimation#. So I did and was told it was still processing no shipment date given and was told it would take 30 to 60 working days to process.

Again, no response by the middle of August I called again and was told the same thing and I then explained that this was not acceptable and wanted to speak with Mark they said he would tell me the same thing if I had any complaints I would need to write Mr. Patrick Norton at PO Box 2588 in Champlin NY 12919. I then asked for a phone number for Mr. Patrick Norton I was told no phone for him just the address the 1-866-333-7715 was the only number.

So again I waited until around the 13th or 14th of September and called again as was told that I was in the shipment phase and I should receive the card sometime within the next week or two no later than the first of October. I again explained I was not pleased with the handling of this matter and said I would like my money back and forget the whole thing. I was again told they couldn't do that I would have to write Mr. Patrick Norton.

So I waited and still nothing have tried calling the customer service number 1-866-333-7715 and got a recording saying PR011 you have dialed a number that is not available for your calling area. And now I have paid a fee of $249 for nothing and I am not able to afford that. This was part of my monthly budget money because I thought I could get my credit back in order.
