Oxford Financial Alliance
Ripoff

On or about June 8, I received a phone call from a Mark Lennex who stated that he was calling from Oxford Financial. Mark said that they would send me a visa/Master credit card with a limit of $2000.00 if I would pay a one time payment of $249.00. He said that this would help me get my credit back on line and if I paid my payments on time I would get an increase up to $5000.00 after 4-6 months.

Mark gave me his operator number of 1000 and his extension of 010 if I needed to get back in touch with him. He advised that I would receive my card within 40 days but since I lived in the main land and not in Hawaii or Alaska that I should receive it within 10-14 days. After he got a little information from me, he then put me through to another operator to get more information on my account in order to process my application. The name of the guy that I spoke with at that time was "Elley."

I was given two sets of numbers, which at the time i couldnt understand what he was telling me i ask him to repeat what he had said then the line went dead then Mark L came bac the phone i ask him to give me the number again. Sometime around September 9th, I called to see what the status of my card was. When I talked to the lady that answered the customer service call, she advised that my card had been sent on Sep 6th of 2005. She said i would get it by the 30th if Sept she gave me this num 3408476 and told me the cards i should have them before 40 days.

I asked the lady why couldn't they send my card and she told me they had to wait for my payment to be processed. I told her that they had already gotten my money on the of July 1st. I started getting upset and told the lady I didn't understand why I had to wait so long to get a card that they already had the money for. She then told me that it was company policy to send them out within 40 days. Still being naive, I hung up the phone very dissatisfied and confused.

I reseved a package from Oxford with Books and a 2 letters thay were signed by management this is what thay have said:

On october 19th, I called the infamous phone number 866-333-7715 and got a recording of PR and some numbers and then the recording stated that I was calling from a restricted area.
