Although I was a GMAC customer prior to have filing bankruptcy, it does not seem to matter. I am treated differently since: ie: my letters do not even get responded to, apparently my payments do not get entered in the same manner that a "non-default" mortgage holders payments are: ie: payment made: 9/2 (IN ITS ENTIRETY), 9/30/05: although I have a CONFIRMATION # for the SEPTEMBER PAYMENT, TODAY WHEN CALLING TO MAKE OCTOBER'S PAYMENT THROUGH THE "AUTOMATED ATTENDANT" it was implied that "the total amount due on my account" (included September's payment and an additional payment for October.)

Every single time i have made a payment by phone there has been a "discrepancy" yet to date no one from gmac has responded & every time i do, i am transferred off to gmac's "default dept". I was even told that i cannot make a payment on my acct. Through gmac's website "because i filed bankruptcy"! Mark my words: the only reason that i filed bankruptcy to begin with is because i know the law!

ANYWAY, to make a long story short... I know my rights & guess what??? Gmac is not respecting them. So... I have tried to resolve this on my own, but, apparently, I need to bring in the "other interested parties"
