After having been with American Homeshield for 10 years, I shopped around and found Colonial.in comparing the policy, the CHW policy provided more coverage at a much lower price. I figured, "How bad could it be?" It has been horrible. I've needed them for two claims and both have been a massive and epic disaster. The latest claim was for my refrigerator. I filed it on December 3rd and finally called the vendor on 12/19 after hearing nothing. The vendor told me that they no longer do work with Colonial as they don't pay them, and when they do, it is very slow. It is nice to see that they are not only treating their customers poorly, but also their vendors. I am firing them and going back to American Homeshield. This is one of those occasions when you actually get far less than what you pay for.
