I called colonial under my warranty that I have had for three years with almost no claims. The company never responded they assigned but finally came out after I made repeated calls. T
After coming over they looked to see if I had a pet and concluded that a part under the refrigerator that could only be reached by a technician was not cleaned and could have caused the problem. I know no one who has annual maintenance on a refrigerator for such an item. Even still, colonial claims it was not maintained and that is the reason it is not covered. An obvious scam to get your money and the upfront cost of the visit. No attempt was made by the company to resolve the issue, even though I have found it very inexpensive to repair. This is not what they represent when they sell you the warranty, which clearly makes it misrepresentation. Beyond that their supervisor who handled my call was rude and said no one else can be reached to resolve or disuss the issue further, but I could write to the corp headquarters.
