Terrible Service

Absolutely the worst. Totally regret getting sucked into purchasing the home warranty. I have submitted 3 different claims since I got this contract and NOTHING has been done. The first one was for my A/C unit. Took 3 referred contracts to finally come out. Now I have to come up with $600 for a leak inspection.

Then another claim for my dishwasher. They referred 3 contractors and they either didn't call me, call me back or show up for an appt. Pending almost 2 months.

The last claim was for my oven which started sparking on Thanksgiving day. One referred contractor never contacted me, or didn't return my calls, the other made the appt, the day he was coming was late, then kept telling me he was on his way and never showed up. Colonial referred another contractor which was out of my area. I finally had to call a contractor myself to come out for estimates from the yellow pages.

He took my money for an estimate and gave me a quote. Colonial won't move forward until the contractor calls them directly, but now I can't get a hold of the contractor and he won't call me back or call Colonial. So I am S.O. L because too many flakey contractors don't follow through. Colonial won't budge on my claims and had to go out and purchase a new oven.

So frustrated and the Colonial reps aren't very helpful at all!!! So I am now paying for a service that doesn't follow through and out money for having to purchase a new oven!!!

Don't waste your time, money and patience on this company!
