I called to have my stove/oven repaired. The oven would not light. A serviceman came out, diagnosed the problem, said he would order parts. Two weeks passed and finally I called Colonial to find out what was happening. They said someone would get back to me. Another week went by and I called Colonial again. Their representative told me my claim had been denied because the contractor told them that a "power surge" caused the problem and that was not covered. I didn't buy this explanation because the electronic digital clock, temp gauge and top burners, that are lit throgh an electronic generated spark, were still working fine. I called the contractor and they told me they NEVER said anything about a "power surge". As a matter of fact they recommended the ignitor for the oven was out and needed to be replaced. When I contacted Colonial about my conversation with the contractor, I was told the case is closed and I would have to e mail them to see if they would re-open the case.
Not only is this company incompetent, THEY ARE LIARS!!!
