I have been reading different reports on this site. I am glad to know that I am not alone.
I had a home loan through a bank in Washington state that was sold out to this institution. I received a letter from the bank in Wash. Stating that as of June my payments were no longer to be sent to them. I tried on numerous times to find out who it was to be sent to. I found out in Feb. Of 2002 that it was Ocwen Federal in Los Angeles CA.
Ocwen at no time has ever sent me any notice as to this buy out or even a payment book. This is 8 months later that I find out through an attorney in ND as to where to send these payments.
I would be glad to assist in anyway I can to help others avoid this problem. There must be someone somewhere that we can contact to rectify this problem. Together we can all make a difference. I have heard of this type of problem before on shows like Dateline.
