What a nightmare. When we entered into our 2nd Mtg., it was with Delta. They are still apart of Ocwen, don't be fooled. Ocwen, would call us constantly, 7 days a week. We finally decided we had to get out from under this mess and refinanced both mtgs at a higher interest rate because of Ocwen. When the dispursement of funds started to pay off the two mtg holders. Ocwen was over $6,000 higher than originally reported.By the way, they couldn't charge any penalties for early pay off, cause they had to honor the original contracts of Delta.
We have asked the funding company to send us a breakdown by Ocwen for these extra funds and will be turning over to our attorney. Even if it costs us we will make Ocwen give back the money they stole from us. Finally they send us a letter saying we over paid, guess what... We are getting back out of all that $126.52 overpayment. I don't think so, we are getting everything together to get this mess finalized and to the attorney. The federal government needs to put this lending institution out of business and fine them. I hate to see everyone associated with this institution put through all this mess. What a mess it is.
