Account Paid Off On-Line - Still being billed

I paid off both the citibank accounts I had online. One was no problem. The other I am being charged interest and late fees for not paying the interest on the account that was settled in full, on-line. This is now the third month they are doing this, now up to $65.65 even though I called as soon as this first happened and was told the account would be cleared. When it wasn't cleared and I called again on the next added fee and billing, I was again told it would be cleared. I just got a third bill for the amount shown. I need help. This sin't about $65.00. It's about the fact that citibank showed the full amount owed on line - I paid that amount in full yet they keep billing and adding fees.
