I bought a treadmill from Sears in January. They said they would deliver it in two weeks, February 14th. I scheduled the day off work. Nothing. I call Sears asking what happened, and they explain to me that it will be delivered tomorrow. So I say ok, and schedule a second vacation day. Nothing. Seriously. They then say oh there is a problem, we will have to figure out the new delivery date. 8 weeks pass. Nothing. Sears never contacts me, never calls, never emails. I call them every 5-7 days inquiring what is going on with the product I just paid $1700 for? Why can't my item be delivered. Finally in the end of March, I've had enough. I called and requested a refund and was assured I would see my balance refunded in 48 hours. 5 days pass and nothing. All the customer support will discuss is the status of the investigation between Sears and the delivery company. What does that have to do with my refund? This has been such an incredibly bad consumer experience.
