We were denied service from these people on items that were supposed to be covered. They told us that the computer that operates our oven that went out was not covered because the stove was too new and still under warranty. They have no idea when I bought my stove, but when I told them they called me a liar. I had to call Fridigaire, give them the mmodel and serial number of the stove and have them cal;l Colonial Home warranty to verify that the stove was out of warranty. When our refrigertor's freezer started having problems, they gave us a contractor who said that he doesn't do business with them anymore because Colonial HOme Warranty doesn't pay the contractors. The problem with my refrigerator has never been fixed even though another contractor has been out 2 times - each time we had to pay a deductible. We had to buy the part and fix the stove oursselves and the yasked me to fax them the receipt on June 1. As of yesterdsy July 16,1012, I was told they wouldn't reimbursement me as they first said they would becausewe did not renew our policy with them. Why would i??? This is the worst home warranty company in existence. They have so many complaints against them with the better business bureau that they have stopped taking complaints.
