I was contacted by Ms Jennifer Lively, a sells representative of bank of america, concerning a no - contract credit card processing account. I signed up for the service because of the no-contract clause. Ms Lively asked me to fax her copies of my business licences, drivers licences, and other credentials. I did as she asked and was contacted the next day by her rep to program my terminal.initally the processing fees were affordable. I noticed that the fees increased each month regardless of sales activity. I closed for three (3) weeks for renovations, with no credit card sales and the processing fees were higher than ever. I immediately called Ms Lively's office and cancelled my account, receiving a conformation number on aug 31. However, at the end of sept my account was debited ($43.85);end of oct $103.80; end nov. 2012 $202.80. I have visted and inquired of bank of america, who claim they do not know this company. Additionally, by tracing the debit number i was able to find commerce paymentsystems who claim they have no affliation with bank of america. I discovered that the merchant ID # reflected on my sales slip is not the same number that appears on the account at commerece payment system. Since 1 Sept i have used SQUARE as a processer, but i continue to get debited by commerce payment systems because the account # and merchant id # do not match.in an earnest effort to solve this unfair practice i have talked extensively with both parties without remedy.
