Late Charges and Refused Payments Lead to Default and Foreclosure Notice

Fairbanks Capital assumed our mortgage. We were immediately behind. They have since tacked on late charges and posted payments late so they could charge additional charges.

Fairbanks then stopped accepting payment altogether, and claims I am in default. We have received foreclosure notice.

I am not the only one in this situation. Where is the government when we need them?
