4 months ago i purchased Direct T.V. Service and I have had billing issuies every month. The advertisment price was 34.99 a month taxes for a totla of $43.86 my first bill was correct.
Bill 2 had a $5.99 protection plan on it for a total of $49.85 (we told them when we got it we wanted no additional charges or services and) we did not want the protection plan. I called them and spent a long time on phone correcting it.
Bill 3 was $55.46 dollars they paid them selves a cancelation fee for canceling and correcting their billing error.
Bill 4 totaled to $92.01 because they started charging for the HBO, Starz package that we told them we did not want in the first place and asked to be removed from that.
After last bill I called them and said I do not have time to spend a hour on a phone to keep correcting every invoice as I said on the 2nd incorrect invoice. Please cancel it. I need that time to with family and relaxing after work. The penalized me with a early cancelation fee of $429.77 and took it out of my check account. I have 4 children to feed and a car on empty. I have to go to work and I dont get paid for 2 weeks. This is on ethical. They get to charge whatever they want and dont have to provide good service. I wonder how they sleep at night. I would be ashamed to be ripping people off.
