I discontinued telephone, satellite and internet service through Windstream and my credit card was billed the next month anyway. Now, two months later, I'm still trying to get a refund. I was told this morning that a check will be issued at their corporate offices and mailed out no later than three weeks from now.By the time I get the check, it will have been three months that I've been waiting. I was told that when an account is closed, they no longer issue refunds back to a credit card. That's interesting since they don't seem to have a problem charging the card after an account is closed. I will NEVER use Windstream again.
