Thinking about choosing Windstream for telephone and internet service THINK TWICE DON%u2019T DO IT! We cancelled our service with Windstream on 4/9. We continued to receive erroneous bills for service after 4/9 at our current address. Windstream also started mailing bills to a previous address and we NEVER had Windstream service at that location. Now we are receiving letters from an attorney demanding payment. We have left messages, spoken to people, written e-mails, letters, etc. And NO ONE can seem to clear this up. So now, instead of having a customer that has canceled your service but may have come back at sometime in the future you now have a customer who will NEVER use Windstream again and who will NEVER recommend anyone else to use Windstream.
