Only have 3 meg available in my neighborhood but it is very inconsistent (Signal strength up and down) talked with windstream customer service and my neighborhood is not due for upgrade till early 2014. Requested lower rate due to the fact that I am not getting on a consistent basis what I am paying for. I was told by customer service that "Sorry going to have to live with it". Windstream technician came out a few months ago to check things out and he advised to move my service to cable. I have been a windstream customer for almost 30 years. The customer service rep. Was very nice and thorough but could not help.
