I’ve had two requests for a new 18 mpbs Uverse internet service the last due install date was 4/18. As of this post my service is still not working. Had mom called to check status on the 19th and she was advised the order completed 4/18, regardless that the service just flashes. My mom advised their rep the service has never worked needs to be fixed. She was told someone needs to be there to test & get fix. I’ve taken off work twice to get service was advised by installer on the 18th there was outside work that needed to be done. Then after she talked with them the installer called to check & seems not to be aware I still did not have service but would get it fixed & did not need to get inside to do so. I was told the installation could not be a customer install but had to be tech install because of the speed and with the equipment I will be billed a total of $250.00. I was also advised or my mom that my monthly billing for 1 year would be a special of $39.95. It does not appear they plan to get me my service fixed and with a $150 install price this should not be happening. I work until 10:30 to 11 pm and cannot take off again especially since the tech said the problem is outside and they AT&T need to fix this problem. It is apparent I need to file a complaint with whoever regulates this service then maybe I will get my service more expeditiously on acct 110553271. I’m sure they will want to get paid timely which if I get service will need to be adjusted.
