Comcast Techs? Or just Hired Help - comcast cable tv

Ecently my neighbor had a problem with her service (86yrs old). The tech could not fix it and rendered on cable box useless. After he left i went over there and looked at the splitter in the wall he had hooked up the verizon fios internet into comcast cable splitter, thus killing the box. Second tech comes over and i mentioned it to him, he ignored the problem. Third tech arrived i mentioned it to him he switched out boxes and fried it. He then decided to check out the splitter and reversed the wires and burned out another box in another rooom then replacedd it and burnt out that one. Still not one tech has started by taking off the verizon fios internet from their splitter. Now monday the 4th tech is coming down here in heritage harbor annapolis md. So if anyone reads this please advise how i should get them to listen to me i have called and talked to several people and all i get is a tech that is either to proud to listen to me or to ignorant to notice the most obvious, and that is verizons service is seperate from comcast and should not be ignored because someone pointed out the problem to you. So come monday i still do expect two or three more boxes to be fried and verizon fios still being routed thru comcast cable because a retired tech gave them advice. Next time i shall keep my mouth shut and not point the way towards a 15 minute service call.
