Central Refrigerated Service
Ripoff contract and everything

I went to a private trucking school to get my class A CDL and completed my driving training and all of my indorsements except for passenger. I freakin paid $6,000 for that complete class A CDL. I got a offer from Central Refrigerated Service saying that if i work for them i would be closer to home because they have a terminal in Stockton CA, so i decided to go for them so it would be closer to my house.

I went to Fontana CA and they told me that i need to retake the whole corse again. All over again. I already got my class A CDL but i wasnt train on a 53" trailer. I been trained on a 28" and 48". I was like WTF its only 5" more. I been trained on a 40" tandem so a 53" should be no different. They said its the "policy". Thats just stupid. I wasted my time going to Fontana CA. I decided not to back down because my family was soo proud that i made it this far so i went along. The recruiter told me that the course will be $1500 for 6 months. Again, i was like WTF? I found out that the other two guys in the course with me was in the same situation but they only have to pay $500 for 6 months. So i went to complain to the Manager about the contract. I told him, "Are you guys trying to fuk me over? That guy and me, we both obtain our class A in a private trucking school. He has no 53" experience and neither do i. But why do i have to pay $1500 and he only have to pay $500?" He threw the contract away and gave me a new one right away then he said, "here, is it better now?" man what kind of bullshit is this. I went through the whole class on getting their permit which i already have, go do the driving skill which i already know how to drive. I wasted 5 weeks doing nothing but refresh my memories again...

Finally i went with a trainer. Hes mexican. Hes FAT, BIG, but cool though. He said majorities of "trainers" bullshit everything. All they really did was teach the rookie how to drive safe and how to park, and how to check in and check out. They dont really teach anything about the trip plan, ETA, all the Macs, and more stuff. My trainer told me that he will just write everything that im doing well and great but in exchange he wanted me to pass the road test when i come back. So i passed the road test and we never ever meet or call each other ever again.

After training i feel like im ready and im finally be able to make money! But truth is i struggled on my ETA and on time delivering. I noticed that my trainer never really did teach me much about trip planning and ETA. I did soo many mistake as a solo driver for Central Refrigerated. It took me 2 months to learn how to properly do my ETA and On Time Delivery. I did 3 Repower loads for other drivers that ran out of hours. I drove about 1000 miles to meet the other driver to swap trailer and i continue on to mine. The thing is that i was never told that i need to make a copy of the BOL (Bills of Lading) and turn it in so i get pay for the 1000 miles i drove. I did that 3 times. I drove 3000 miles for free without getting paid. I got this information from other Central driver. They told me that i need to make copy of the BOL before i swap the trailer and turn in the paper so i get pay for all the miles i drove. I sent a few messages to my DM (dispatch manager) asking him, "do i need to make a copy of my BOL before i swap trailer?" 2 DM answered me saying NO i dont need to because im not the one that finishing the delivery. Thats when i know they bullshit. I dont listen to my DM anymore i basically follow my own game now.

I drove 4 months without knowing that i have a Payroll Manager. I never knew that i have a payroll manager. I started asking Central drivers more information as a solo driver. I learned the truth from them. They dont give a shit about their DM or the Company. They work their own game to make sure they get paid for every little things they did. I was shocked. I feel like i really really lost hope in this job. Some people told me to hang on because it usually take about a year or more to catch up in reality.

About 70% of the time when i have a load that is 1500 miles plus they would tell me to swap the trailer with another driver half way. I told them that im not gonna do that i want to finish the load. They told me that i dont have that right because im not a owner operator. I was happy when i see the load miles but its almost all the time will be taken away. I always wanted to max out my paycheck to see how much i can make. The most i ever made was 700. Thats the MAX i made. I averaged 200-400 a week. I went home for 2 weeks to renew my license. I did not get pay for 4 weeks. WTF? Im only gone for 2 weeks but not getting pay for 4 weeks? I finally talked to my payroll manager and talked to her about my paycheck. All she said was, everything was paid. Anything else i can help you? I told her that im only out for 2 weeks, why im getting negative paycheck for 4 weeks? She said the same shit, everything has been paid. What can i do now? I finally realized that i need to make copy of my BOL every single fuking time before i sent them in on the yellow box and keep track of the miles i ran because they dont pay you by miles you ran they only pay u by estimated miles.

I did a Mac 37, which is trailer yard check. What i do is i am at a yard with sum free time. They wanted me to check every single trailer in the yard and write down the trailer number, fuel level, emty or load, and many more. They will pay if i do it but they did not give me an answer how much they will pay me if i do that. Its been 2 months, they never pay me. I constantly message my DM about the Mac37 i did and why i am not getting pay for what i did. All he said was, i messaged the planner. He will take of it. Thats it... What can i do?

I came home into Stockton CA, parked my truck into Central Refrigerated yard. I packed all my shit and left the keys in the truck and call them that i quit. The truck is in the yard. Bye.

I feel much better because i would make the same amount if i work in McDonald. After quiting the job they will have to make sure they pay me everything and pay me my last paycheck. Thats what i thought. But NO! They're not done with me yet. I have a $800 deduction from my paycheck! Wtf! $280 for truck recovery, meaning that i parked a truck in a unsafe area. And a $200 dollar deduction because i did not finish the 6 months contract that i sign with them. And others were from something else i forgot. I was like i really dgaf anymore. But then a week later they billed me a letter saying that i pay $1500 collection fee for Central Refrigerated or else it will go to my collection. I have no idea wtf that shit came from. I will not pay for that shit. And also my last paycheck NEVER came through!!! I waited 2 weeks for my lasst check but i never received it. They might take away my check to pay the collection? I dont even know wtf is going on anymore. I never hear anything about a fee if i parked a truck a their own yard. I never heard anything that if i quit they will bill me $1500.

I tried applying to many different companies but they all rejected me instantly. I have no idea why they rejected me! I have 5 months and 2 weeks OTR experience. They all said that my background is very bad. I dont have bad background. They wouldnt tell me anything either. So im guessing that Central Refrigerated must have said something bad about me. The only company would take me in is Werner and Swift. Omg what choice i have now?

Im telling u guys. Do no go for central refrigerated service. Many owner operator went broke and many company driver went nagetive on paychecks. I really rather work in McDonal and get $300 a week. All those promises i was told were all LIES! No miles! Never home on time! Negative Paychecks! They take away your awesome load! Anything goes wrong they will make sure you are 100% at fault.

Im going to find out where the fuk this $1500 collection coming from. If they trying to force me to pay for the truck then hell no. Im getting a lawyer. Btw, im Hmong.
