I recently flew on spirit airlines over the Christmas Holiday. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience! And their customer service sucks. A flight that was supposed to cost me and my boyfriend $250ish, ended up costing us twice that amount. Here I thought that I was getting a great rate. Guess I was wrong! They charged me an additional $59.95 for signing up for their "Club Fair", which I never excepted or agreed to pay an annual payment of. They tacked that amount onto my already overly priced flight. The annual fee is non-refundable, so I couldn't even get a credit back for that. What kind of customer service is that? They charge for bags if you check them or carry them on. I will NEVER and I don't recommend anyone to fly with them, unless you feel like getting ripped off. Their supervisor wasn't willing to give me a credit for this mistake and it cost him a future customer in me and hopefully many others will not choose SPIRIT AIRLINES when flying.
