Falsified information of an Online Bid Hotel, Conditions?

Have been trying since Nov. 2011 to receive some form of a refund after learning after making a price bid and then learning of the Hotel We would be staying.

Turned out to be over-rated and mis-represented on Priceline.com Web-Site.

They refused to look into this in any way and denied any wrong doing of Priceline.com or the Hotel in the Representing of the Hotel online. Everytime I did receive any reply from Priceline.com it seemed as though I was receiving a form letter each time in my EMAIL.

Would never actually look into my claim, but insisted that the STAR RATING of 3 STARS was correct, when Actually it was more of a 1 STAR! They do not tell you in advance of the Parking fees and the actual condition of any room or area, but plenty was said online thru Feedback of TRAVELERS who had spent sometime before and after the time of reservation that were made by Us.

We felt that this price, even though a Bid Price was not worth the nightly price of this Hotel and then more for a daily parking fee ($22.00 per day) plus room rates and dirty accommodations! Feedback mentioned the rooms were out dated and quite dirty. The Lobby was slow and dirty as was the waiting areas. There was other Hotels in the close area that were not rated 3 Stars, but were much better in Quality, Cleanings, Customer Service and of Course... FREE PARKING!

Still close to every where we wanted to go and see. They got Nearly $300.00 for for ROOM RATE we wanted to and did Cancel thru the Hotel and thru PRICELINE.com. Then nothing but lies from day one about how wrong we were and were other that actually stayed and had planned to stay!

PRICELINE.com do not actually look into ANY complaints and never give a FAIR REFUND! WE were going to Cincinnati, OHIO for Our 30year Married Anniversary! After Paying in advance. It left Us little to take even a local area Vacation and to just enjoy each Our 30 yrs!

WE Tried over and over and got a Generic reply! Never any upfront and a reply that sounded like from a real person at the moment. Just a refusal, to look at Our side!
