In October I paid $189 to join Travel Value Alerts Club, in which I was promised two free airline tickets to anywhere in the world. They made it sound like if I paid this easy $189, I would have the freedom to go anywhere for as long as I wanted, etc.
After switching from the Guest List, of whom I paid an extra $20, to First Choice Vacations, I had not heard anything from them in almost three months, so I began e-mailing, writing & calling to try to reach anyone I could.
I never heard a response from anyone until I sent a letter with the word "SCAM" in it. Suddenly, I get an e-mail, not from their automated service response center, but from an actual person who assured me all of my concerns were taken care of.
Finally, I got my Reservation Request Form (5 mos. After starting with them) with a limited amount of places to go & a required hotel stay, of which they needed a $250 hotel deposit. That was almost three months ago.
Today, I tried to go to their e-mail address & can not find it. Anyone know how to contact these people? Their phone number is disconnected, their website no longer in use, and no responses from prolonged e-mails. Hmmmm!
I want my $459 back! With the backbreaking money I've been trying to save for my planned trip & having to pick up an extra job for this, I'd almost rather pay the overpriced plane ticket so I can have the security.
