I originally heard of this Hawaii vacation on wbig radio and contacted Thrifty Travel and paid them 100.00 for 2 {travel vouchers } when they came I had to send 25.00 to fantastic destinations for 2 reservation request forms. When I received them Ihad to send 120.00 4.00for using a credit card for a deposit on my trip, the money went to suzanne Cofresi @fantastic destinations.com There was still another internet travel agency bearcountryvacations, who were suposed to finally supply the actual trip with airfare on unused air seats and unfilled hotel rooms so I was to fill out 4 possible travel dates which I did, This was the first part of Sept.
Jan. 1 I tried to contact bearcountry vacations and their web site was no longer any good. So now I contacted both Thrifty Travel and fantastic destinations and was told that bearcountryvacations has filed for bankruptcy and that I will have to go after them for my payment. The problem with this is, I paid 100.00 to thrifty travel for aweb site to fantastic destinations and paid them 50.00 for 2 rrf. Forms and 124.00 for a deposit on my trip.
So I have waited 3 months for this vacation that will now never happen and am told to go after the bankrupt company. I am not happy!
