No Concern For Passengers

Yesterday, July 28, I arrived at the gate exactly 10 minutes early and the door was closed (again-2nd time in recent memory) with 3 other passengers right behind me on another MESA air flight.in their quest to be "on-time", they actually departed 4 minutes early with no regard for passengers who were late arriving on another US Air flight.

When discussing this with the manager, who apparently is now Piedmont (which is a crying shame as Piedmont was once an exceptional airline that focused on customer service... And quite ironic too!), i was greeted with a manager that, first, one could tell was very inexperienced, completely unsympathetic, and defensive to the policy that closing the gate on time (early in this case) was clearly more important than any customer that had to run a mile across the Phoenix airport to be greeted with complete disregard and disrespect. While US Air has started to do better in their efforts at customer service, to be associated with Mesa Airlines is indicative that they are not serious enough.
