I went to Cincinnati to run the Flying Pig Marathon. I wanted to find the closest hotel so I used one of the third party providers. So I paid for my room up front.
I was up all night listening to the unsupervised minors stomping on the second floor. I got out of bed at 5am, tired, and ran the half marathon. I came back to my room took a shower and a quick nap. Then I checked out at the front desk. I asked if we were good and the clerk said all was taken care of.
Four days later the Hotel charged my credit card and said I smoked in the room. I am a runner, non-smoker. No proof was offered. When I reported this to corporate, ICG, they had the wrong name even tied to my reservations. No apologies. Liars and thiefs are what I found there.
They can just come days later and say anyone smoked and steal your money right out of your account.intercontinental Hotel Group allows this to happen.
