Poor Front Desk - Best Western Adams Inn

On June 18 at 12 AM, the radio on the unoccupied room next to mine (130. I was in 132) came on automatically very loudly. I called the front desk. The front desk person said he would take care of it. At 12:15 the radio was still blaring. I called again. The clerk said he was alone and there was no one to turn the radio off. He said the van driver would return in about 15 minutes and turn it off. At 12:40, the van driver turned off the radio. I, of course, could not sleep during this time.

At 10:45 PM, someone used a key card and entered my room. She was startled and said there must be a mistake. I called the front desk and told the gentleman that someone entered my room with a key card without knocking. At 11:00, a woman called me claiming to be the front desk clerk. She said the computer indicated that the room was not being used and available for a new guest. She did not apologize for the intrusion in my room or for her late night phone call. She wanted to know my name. She said she believed it was Smith, but wanted to know my first name. I told her that since I could not verify that she was the desk clerk she should check the documents I provided check in - if indeed she was a desk clerk in the hotel. I told her that I was going to sleep. She complained about my not wanting to give her my name. I don't give my full name to strangers on the Internet in a hotel phone call.
