I am so furious you will have to excuse any misspellings, my 80 year old mother that lives in Cleveland Tenn. Decided she wanted to come back to Ct. For a visit since she is strong willed and very very sharp for her age (hates flying) she decided to travel by Greyhound her trip from Tennesee to Connecticut was flawless, her return trip however was another thing, as I put her on the bus the driver was a rude nasty and sarcastic man, I explained to him that my moms bag didnt have a luggage ticket on it he said "not my problem" I asked him well what does she do he said "when the bus gets to NYC (first stop) she will have to get her own bag from the luggage container storage on the sides of her bus I asked him very nicely is there anyway you can help her this is the first time she has traveled by bus and she is a little nervous transfering in NYC his response was "nope i only drive ' yea real nice guy great customer service huh, so as my mom arrives in Penn station to board the next bus within 30 mins of leaving NYC the bus breaks down they left my 80 year old mother and other passengers on a sidewalk in NYC where they were approached by, panhandlers, drug addicts, and various Rif Raf for money, for over 3 hours, when the new bus came to pick them up the driver only went to Maryland because he had extended his driving hours, where my mother again had to wait for another new driver, as they got back on the road there was a scheduled stop where the passengers could get a bite to eat use the restroom stretch there legs whatever, the driver didn't stop because he wanted to make up lost time, now here she is this morning sitting in Virginia since 7am est till 12:15pm waiting for the bus transfer the reason was beacuse they missed it due to the bus breaking down and all the other B_*it thay Greyhound caused. I am so furious that I will never ever use Greyhound for anything, the drivers are all rude and sarcastic, the buses are junk. I thought the service at airports and flying werr bad huhhhh they are a peice of cake compared to Greyhound. I have since called customer service where on the other end was a man that couldn't speak english, (what a suprise) got the run around and was told that can't do anything till the trip is complete, at this rate I will be lucky if she makes it back to Tenn.By tommorow. I am hoping that the company will make good on a refund for her return trip. I am sure they can check to see all of my complaint are valid. And I welcome a phone call from them! If any one that reads this has decided to "Leave the Driving to us" and go Greyhound your better off walking!!!
