We booked a room at this hotel for our anniversary. When we checked into the room o4/8 the room had a terrible smell to it. The phone didn't work and the door to the balcony would not open. Also there was no phone book in the room and they said housekeeping would bring one. They brought a 2005 phonebook and said that was the latest one they had. The smell from the room which my husband thinks is either mildew or mold never got better. We had to keep the door to the balcony open to be able to stand it and then we bought air freshener to help. The hotel was booked solid so there was no getting another room. We decided to leave a day early and they charged us 60.00 for leaving early. They said it was there policy. I have checked the paper work from booking this hotel and it says the cancellation policy was if we cancelled before 4 5 (our entire stay) it would cost us 1 nights room and 19.95. It does not say we would be charged for leaving early. Being it is spring break I am sure they rented the room that night. Also if it is mold in the room some one could get very sick. They should check into this.
