While reviewing my on-line bank statement I noticed a withdrawal (by bank card) for $139.95. There was no entry showing the name of the customer on the report. Only a telephone number was on the report. That number is: 888-868-6216.
I called that number and was eventually connected to a female who identified herself as "Yesnia, I.D. #10237. The company (??) was identified as "dealpass" After much discussion she stated that on June 5th, they sent out a letter to me informing me that my subscription was up and that they would be charging my bank card in the near future if I did not tell them otherwise. I have never belonged to this subscription, to the best of my knowledge.
She stated that my money would be refunded within the "next two statement cycles. I told her that this was unacceptable to me. They had charged my account, without my permission and I wanted it refunded to my account immediately. At this time she stated, again after much discussion, that I should receive a credit to my account within the next five to seven days. All of this took place at approximately 0845 this morning, July 10.
